Vilt is Dutch for Felt.
I make everything by the WET-FELT/ wetfelting technique with super soft merino wool. I do this all by hand, without sewing/ knitting first. No washing machine, just my own power! I hope you enjoy my creations.

Shop policies
Making wet felt is everytime a great joy to do. It gives me time after time a feeling of magic. I lay pieces of wool fibres/ roving into a pattern and after putting water and soap to it. I can start gently moving my hands over the wetted wool. By the aggitation with my hands the wool fibres start interfering and shrinking. That's called felt. I hope you like it in my shop.

Care instructions:
Handwash only. Wash with handwarmwater and gentle soap. Rinse out with handwarm-cold water till soap is gone. Dry flat. No tumbling dry.
Watch out for moths!!!
Custom order: I can do custom order, but keep in mind that I have a full time job as a florist teacher and making felt takes a lot of time. Custom orders might not be ready immediately.
